Rejoicing in His Presence: Celebrating Sukkot with Joy

After Yom Kippur, we now enter a season of great rejoicing,  Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles!

This is one of the most joyful moedim (appointed times) of Adonai, a celebration of His faithfulness, provision, and dwelling presence among His people.

The Israelites, their families built sukkot (temporary booths or shelters) to remember how God cared for them in the wilderness. These humble shelters remind us that our lives on earth are temporary, but His presence is everlasting. Even now, as followers of Messiah Yeshua, we look forward to the day when He will tabernacle among us forever, when joy will have no end!

Sukkot is a time to:
  • Rejoice in God’s provision.
  • Dwell in His presence with thanksgiving.
  • See Yeshua in the Feast of Sukkot
  • Gather family and friends in unity and joy.
  • Remember that our true home is in Him.

To help you reflect on the deeper meaning of this appointed time, we’ve prepared a special 8-Day Sukkot Devotional: “Dwelling in Joy: Life Lessons from Ecclesiastes under the Sukkah.”

Each day offers:
  • Blessing on the First Night and Last Night
  • A short Scripture reading
  • A reflection or discussion
  • A simple prayer

Whether you’re celebrating alone, with family, or in fellowship with others, this devotional will guide you to experience the true joy of dwelling with Adonai.

May your sukkah  and your heart  be filled with light, laughter, and the presence of the One who never leaves us.

Deuteronomy 16:14–15
“You shall rejoice in your Feast… and you shall be altogether joyful.”
